About Me

I’m a computer science graduate with over 3 years of tutoring experience. I’ve worked as a software developer and an Analyst in the corporate world. Right now I’m looking out for opportunities that helps me keeps my skills up to date. I’m a pass out of ICSE board with 90% marks in my 10th standard and deep admiration for subjects like English, Maths & Computer Science. For social studies and Civics I imply a more fun and methodical way of learning that helps in developing the memory and makes the subjects interesting. I believe teaching has a lot to do with effort and a right tutor can help bring out the hidden potentials in a child. Improvement is something that I strive for in my students. I try to communicate only in English with my students to improve their communication skills and understanding of the language. With an understanding of Vedic mathematics I tend to teach students calculation tricks that makes Mathematics more fun. I focus of vocabulary building and the use of pluck cards to help students memorize words & events and put them to practice. Being an orator myself, I encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities like extempore, debate, speech, essay writing competition and can help them prepare for the same. Teaching Experience: • Taught over 20+ students over a span of 3 years. 12 of my students have remained consistent for two years with me until I had to relocate. • Taught students in batch sizes of 3. • Helped students develop public speaking skills and encouraged them to participate in extracurricular activities. I have spent extra time to groom them for the same. • Helped students struggling with calculations in Mathematics develop great calculation speed. • All of my students rose to be among the top 5% of the class. 3 being from DPS Noida & 3 from Apeejay School. • Adept at creating study material and a study plan that covers syllabus on time and leaves out enough time for tests and revision. • Focus on Homework completion and weekly tests to mark progress. • Strong interpersonal skills with students to help them learn and succeed.
