The above plan offers 10 contact credits so that you can browse the tuition needs posted on our site, get contact details of 10 parents/students, give demo class and if student/parent likes demo and your fee and other conditions then you can confirm that tuition.

* Local tuition agencies charge 50% of first month tuition fee or full first month fee. For example, if a local tuition agency arranges a home tuition for which parent pays Rs 5,000/- a month, they will charge Rs 2500/- first month. HomeTutorSite.com charges lowest fee (less than 1/3rd of local tuition agency charges). We assure you to provide tremendous value for every rupee you pay us.

It came to our attention that some parents are asking money from tutors. Tutors should note that this is fraud. If any parent asks you to pay amount to them, then please inform our customer service about this so that we can take necessary action.

In home tutoring or online tutoring system, parent pays tutor for their service. But some fraud parents are able to cheat few innocent tutors and are able to get money from tutors. Tutors should be aware of such fraudulent practices and report such cases immediately to our customer service team.

We charge our premium membership amount Rs 1,199 (or Rs 999 for first time users with one time discount). Contact credits are the keys to unlock the contact details of the student who posted the tuition requirement. One contact credit allows you to see the contact details of one student.

Premium membership offers many benefits to the tutor.
a) Premium tutors can see the contact details (mobile, email and address) of the student who posted the tuition and can contact them directly.
b) They will be listed as featured members in search results when students search for tutors.
c) They can get SMS alert when a student from his locality posts tuition in his subject.
d) We advertise more and reach out to more students in the areas where there are more premium tutors.
e) You will get more reward points
f) Special attention till they find a tuition job.

Refund eligibility is checked after your full 6-month plan period, based on your 10 contact credits. If you didn't use any credits, you get a full refund. If you used some credits but didn't confirm a tuition, we'll first offer to extend your membership by 3 months so you can use your remaining credits - just request this within 30 days of your plan's expiry date; if you'd still prefer a refund instead, we'll refund on a prorated basis for each unused credit. If you already confirmed a tuition with the credits you used, there's no refund or extension. If you used all 10 credits without confirming a tuition, there's no refund either, since we did successfully show you 10 matching opportunities - however, first-time tutors in this situation get 5 additional contact credits free of cost. Please give feedback within 4 days of unlocking each contact - a contact you don't give feedback on is treated as confirmed by default.

You have to collect the tuition fee from the student/parent.

No. The entire fee is yours. We do not ask for any commission from tuition fee.

Please maintain a professional tone when communicating with parents. Occasionally, parents may express a need for a tutor but might provide excuses if they find any issues with the tutor's communication style or approach.

You can directly deposit to our SBI account or ICICI account from any of the SBI or ICICI branches across India and contact us on 8367672288 to inform the transaction number. We will update your account to premium.
