I was working on Econophysics (application of Mathematica Physics inter-alia Statistical Mechanics) as a doctoral project.Teaching IIT-JEE happened all of a sudden when my acquaintance's brother asked my help to solve some problems from IIT entrance. That was the beginning of a journey, a journey where I got to know extremely bright minds. Now I am completely involved with Teaching physics at the IIT level. Teaching stimulates my mind since I am involved in a process of TRANSFERENCE of not only knowledge but also to develop in my students as well as myself THE ART OF THINKING.Physics is the most fundamental of all science and I love to do thought experiments to put across a concept to my students.I basically use SKYPE,freely available whiteboards and whatsapp to send pictures of hand written notes.I am in the process of developing a blog www.physicseq.org. .I would request interested students to visit the blog.I still rely on the super-texts RESNICK,HALLIDAY and IRODOV,KROTOV. Also I use HC VERMA and DC Pandey for more contemporary problems.Some times I give my students problems from Meriam Kriage and Kleppner and Kolenkow. I believe in the adage "quality problems (PROBLEMS WHICH FIGHT BACK) are more important than the volume of problems solved"Thanks
