About Me

hail from the capital city (Chennai) of Tamil Nadu, India. I did my under graduation in the field of physical education and secured a gold medal. I then moved on to complete my master's in library and information science and also pursued my Ph.D. in the same discipline with the support of a Junior Research Fellowship. During my tenure as a research scholar, I have developed a full-fledged e-learning platform for library science students using Moodle. Further, as a librarian and also as an academician, I have published several research papers in various reputed journals which are indexed in IEEE, Ebsco, and Scopus. I have also received 2019 Emerald South Asia LIS Research Award for my proposal on analyzing the status of school libraries in India. Hence, I am well versed with research writing and its background. I can analyze literature review, compile trend reports, collect primary and secondary data, design surveys Questionnaires, Interviews, etc) do exhaustive statistical analysis both manually and also using tools like SPSS, R, and Python). As a library professional, I am familiar with all the subject databases, which helps the users of different disciplines to find out the recent trends in their subject areas.
