About Me

I am writing to express my interest in the position of High School Business Studies and Accountancy Tutor. I am associated with Ulink College of Shanghai, China, working as IGCSE Business Studies and Accountancy teacher. However, now I am in India, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions I could not return to Shanghai. Currently I am teaching one-to-one online CBSE, IGCSE and ISC Curriculum to Accountancy pupils. I have 14 years of international experience teaching Accounting and Business Studies in A-Level (Edexcel) and Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum classes. I was awarded for "significant attendance and punctuality" during the academic years 2009-2010 and 2013-2014 by two different schools. 90% of my students scored grades A to C, some students graded A* and some of them scored 100% marks in the Edexcel board examination throughout my A level teaching career. I was responsible for the Business club and Cricket club activities in two Schools. I also had an opportunity to teach Economics for two years. It helped me enhance and diversify my teaching skills in various subjects. Coming to my education, I am a post-graduate in commerce (M.Com) with a teaching license (B.Ed). At all levels of education, my major was Accountancy and Business Studies. I stood first in the class at the university examinations held in March 2003 in my B.Com course. I am confident that the skills I gained in my previous positions have prepared me for this opportunity. Also, I can mentor & motivate students to become globally competent. My experience has also enhanced my communication skills and taught me how to handle stressful situations while working in a very fast-paced environment.
