About Me

For those looking for a math tutor for yourselves or your children, look no further. I am a graduate from Cairo University with a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in science. Through these years, I have gained experience in a variety of math and math related problems including Physics, Calculus , and Trigonometry. I am not limited to these subjects at all.Having this diverse background in engineering allows me to help students with any math that they are having trouble with at the current moment. Regardless of what type of math a student is struggling with, I am very confident that I can help. In addition to my math background, I also have 2 years of teaching and tutoring experience with aging from 13 years old to 50 years of age. I am currently teaching at www.NetTutor.com . The experience that I have gained at this school has shaped and molded my teaching style for the better. It includes working with underprivileged youth, kids who need academic assistance and well rounded kids who may see math from a different standpoint. I have also tutored adults who are in college from ages 20-50 years of age. These different age groups helped me develop the patience and understanding of the individual when I tutor. My approach to tutoring is very relaxing and informative with students. I try to make my tutoring sessions as different as possible from the classroom setting as I can. This helps the student feel comfortable asking questions and attempting problems without worrying about getting them right or wrong. I have an enthusiastic attitude towards the problems as well because through my teaching experience I have found that some students just need motivation more than information. My unique style of relating the math to the students interests helps the student understand the math with a clearer mindset. Lastly, I am honest in all of my sessions. If there is information that I do not know from the start, I have no problem with figuring it out and letting the student see that its okay to not know something , as long as you work to get the answer. At the end of the day, my goal is for the student to feel confident and knowledgeable in the material
