About Me

As far as describing myself as a teacher honest, straight forward definitely not politically correct, opinionated , open minded to new ideas all which I also encourage my students to be in my class. I would give myself a B maybe a B+ Lol Reason first every school year you start over. After teaching for 1+ years I have never had any individual classes of students that were the same. I continue to evolve as a teacher. I am always learning new and better ways to present material from my students, administrators and fellow teachers. Young people especially freshman in high school today are so much smarter than a lot of people especially adults give them credit for. You can learn a lot from them if you are willing to listen and respect their opinions which are always evolving. I also continue to learn within the content area I teach. Every year is an opportunity to improve that’s the great part of the profession in addition to knowing that you can and do make a difference in young people’s lives though you might not always see it immediately.
