About Me

I am Ambili Unni.P, currently pursuing PhD in Chemical Biology from Vellore Institute of Technology, India. Two years of teaching experience in Biology and Chemistry made me a self confident teacher who could deliver each and every concepts in simple and prompt language. I have trained students in Higher Secondary classes during 2016 for an year. I am working as a Technical Associate at Zastra Innovations (part time, along with my co-guide), Bengaluru. My role as a technical associate aided me for mastering the skills for making effective technical presentations specially related to Bioinformatics, Toxicology and Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD). I have conducted webinar sessions on the application of scientific softwares such as StarDrop and LeadIT in Medicinal Chemistry and Computer Aided Drug Design. I was invited as a speaker to deliver lecture on the topic Role of “ADME/ Toxicity in Drug Discovery” at Government Victoria College, Palakkad, Kerala (Kerala Univerity) during December 2017. I have trained undergraduate students (Btech Biotechnology) who joined as interns at Zastra Innovations during 2018. I have delivered concepts of protein-ligand docking, protein modelling, Quantitaive Structure Activity relationship (QSAR), significance of Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Toxicity (ADMET) in drug discovery for them.
