About Me

To, The Secretary Islamia Secondary School, Shillong Subject: Application for the post of Assistant Teacher for English. Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you with regards to your advertisement for the post of Assistant Teacher for English. I have graduated in English Literature from JDSG Collage, Bokakhat, Assam in 2012. I was very fond of reading books and I love to write a well. I was the Magazine Secretary of the college in 2010. After my graduation I decided to do Masters in Linguistics and Language Technology from Tezpur University. The reason why I chose this subject instead of going for pure literature is that I always had the desire to know why the students of Assam underperform in English. In order to unlock those answers I joined the course. And it has been quite helpful since then. Till date my students have shown tremendous progress. I taught in Kaziranga College, Kaziranga, Assam for about two years. There I taught English and Communication Skills in Class 11-12 and in BA 1st, 2nd and 3rd Semester. I joined for the B.Ed programme under the Gauhati University in Dr. Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education (NERIM Group of Institutions) for the session 2016-18. I have successfully completed my B.Ed in 2018. Currently, I work as TGT- English in Delhi Public School, Numaligarh in Assam, India.
