"Hello, I'm Dauphina Sharma, a passionate and dedicated special educator with extensive experience in teaching children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. With a diploma in intellectual disability and a B.Ed. and M.Ed. in intellectual disability, I possess a strong educational foundation in this field. Currently employed at Heritage Xperiential Learning School, I have honed my skills in creating individualized education plans (IEPs), developing comprehensive lesson plans, behavior modification techniques, and adapting and modifying curriculum to suit diverse needs. My expertise extends to artistic activities such as beeswax modeling and wet-on-wet painting, as well as creating engaging circle time sessions using songs, body percussions, and movements. As an empathetic educator, I prioritize building strong bonds with my students, ensuring a supportive and nurturing learning environment. I am truly passionate about what I do and find immense joy in making a positive impact on the lives of the children I teach."
