About Me

My name is Deva Rishava Das. I am a BTech Mechanical Engineering graduate with 5 years of hands-on teaching experience working with students from Class 9 to Class 12 across SEBA, CBSE, and AHSEC boards. Engineering gave me something most tutors don't have — the ability to explain science not just as a subject to memorize but as a living, logical system that makes complete sense once you understand it the right way. That approach consistently translates into real results for my students. WHAT I TEACH Class 9 and 10 — All Science Subjects Class 11 and 12 — Physics, Chemistry, Biology Boards — SEBA, CBSE, AHSEC MY APPROACH Every student learns differently. Some need concepts broken down visually. Some need real world examples. Some need patient repetition until it clicks. In 5 years of teaching I have worked with students across all ability levels — from those struggling to pass to those aiming for top ranks — and I know how to meet each student exactly where they are. My sessions are structured, focused, and conducted in whichever language the student is most comfortable in — English, Assamese, or Hindi. EXPERIENCE 5 years teaching Class 9 to 12 Science across all three major boards in Assam. Comfortable with current syllabus patterns, board exam formats, and the specific areas where students most commonly lose marks. SESSION FORMAT I offer both home visits and sessions at my place — whichever works best for the student and family. WHO I WORK BEST WITH Students who are serious about improving. Whether you are currently at 50% or 80% — if you want to get better and are willing to put in the work, I will make sure the results follow. LOCATION Guwahati, Assam
