About Me

Dr. Rohit Agrawal working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Usha Martin University, Ranchi. He has more than 2.5 years of teaching experience at UG & PG level. He received his B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, M.E degree in Design of Mechanical Equipment and Ph.D degree both from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He was a recipient of GATE scholarship from AICTE, Government of Inida, for academic years 2016-2018. He is the author or co-author of 12 research papers in reputed journals, international conferences and book chapters in which 8 are in SCI, 3 are in Scopus and 1 book chapter. Also, he published 1 process patent and 8 design patent. Recently, he published a book titled "Manufacturing Processes" in Scientific International Publishing House. His area of research includes “tribology, electroless nickel-based coatings, surface characterization, tribological behavior, scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, optimization, and artificial intelligence”. He is an active member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
