I am interested in teaching because of many reasons. First of all the teaching makes me feel proud as I am offering something to someone that will make a difference of his life. I have passion for this job and think I will be doing it for a long time. It is much more rewarding because you have helped the student to learn something, to develop a strong sense of creativity, a high self esteem, and a lifelong respect for learning. Lifelong respect for learning is most important for students as well as teacher. Teaching to student provides an opportunity to a teacher to learn the art of learning again. By teaching Hindi literature and language, I want to inspire students to be active citizens, and curious about History and culture. In my opinion Hindi literature and language provide us a strong sense of culture and it is a key to cultural immersion. If you want to understand the fine distinctions of Indian culture, there is no way around learning Hindi language and literature. So I can feel proud to teach Hindi that makes someone’s life better and diverse.
