About Me

I worked as an Assistant Professor (2015-2017) in Amity Institute of Virology and Immunology, Amity University, Noida campus, Delhi NCR, India and have taught a wide variety of undergraduate (BSc) and post-graduate (MSc) courses in the field of medical biotechnology, immunology & virology. Previously, I completed my Postdoctoral research training (2010-2014) from University of Pennsylvania, USA, and PhD from Bose Institute (2005-2010, Degree awarded from Jadavpur University) with research focus on Cancer biology and Molecular Signaling where also I mentored several undergraduate and graduate students. Currently, I am engaged in private coaching for medical entrance exams (NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER). I have completed graduation with Zoology (Honours) and Master’s degree in Zoology from University of Calcutta. My strong dedication with Zoology in my career fetched me many national, state and college level awards. My experience with outstanding teachers has always inspired me to work hard to be the best teacher I can. I am fully committed to the goal of excellence in teaching and making the educational interaction as positive, productive and empowering as possible. I believe that I can teach Life Sciences especially Zoology to all my students and boost confidence in them to crack their medical entrance exams.
