About Me

Hello. My name is George Monteiro and I'm from mumbai. I'm teaching Guitar, Electronic Keyboard, Singing & Drums from last 12 years. I teach Basics and also train students to appear for grade exams from Trinity/Rock&Pop, UK. I'm a full time teacher and also very passionate for music. I follow Suzuki method in teaching and make sure my students learn every topic clearly as well as learn new topics in every class. My lessons are not only limited to playing songs but teaching students how to find songs on their own. Once a student complete my basic course they will understand the concept of music and music instruments, how to find songs on own, logic of scales & chords, type of chords, variation of chords, fretboard study, etc., Apart from teaching I was part of two rock bands from mumbai where I played Guitar for the band Ravine (2008-10) & Drums for the band Dionysian (2010-13). We have won many competitions in Mumbai and have also played elimination round at IIT Kharagpur & IIT Guwahati. Currently I'm teaching music in mumbai and wish to continue with my solo music projects in future.
