About Me

I would like to mention that I was the University First Rank holder for BBA (2014-17) in Goa University with a CGPA of 8.05. I have also successfully completed MBA in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism from Goa University (2017-19) with a CGPA of 7.77. I have an experience of 2.5 years in Sales in the Hospitality Industry. I last worked with Ginger Hotel Trivandrum (a unit of Indian Hotels Company Limited) as a Sales Executive, where I have spearheaded the conversion of the hotel to a paid Covid Care Center in association with KIMSHEALTH (hospital chain) during the lockdown phase of 2021, thereby bringing in revenue during the lean period. I have also received exposure to the Technopark (Information Technology Park in Trivandrum) market, where I have developed good business relations with IT majors like Infosys, TCS, UST, EY, etc. I have also gained expertise in identifying and tapping new sources of business thereby driving revenue during the pandemic phase. I have been recognized by the organization twice 1) As Ginger Yodha - for excellent revenue recovery efforts during the first wave and 2) As Unsung Hero - for bringing in business during the second wave of Covid. Prior, I have also worked with the Residency Tower as a Sales Executive, where I have received exposure to Front Office and Banquet Operations in addition to my primary role. I also gained knowledge of the city market, especially MICE. My cross-functional skills had been a benefit to the organization. If given an opportunity to teach, I would be bringing along passion for teaching, love for students, 2.5 years of industry experience, excellent communication/presentation skills, and a bundle of energy and enthusiasm.
