About Me

Hello,My professional experience includes curriculum development, teaching students with diverse disabilities, and effectively communicating with parents and students through emails and other communication channels. Empathy is one of my skills that helped me understand the concerns of parents and the needs of students. Problem-solving and practical communication skills allow me to serve the purpose productively. My Sign Language certification helped me in communicating with deaf students.I have done my B.Ed.- Special Education (Learning Disabilities) from Amity University, Noida and pursuing a master’s in counselling psychology from IGNOU and have five years of teaching experience, excluding internships.Apart from this, I have done a Certification course in Sign language from the Noida Deaf Society (NDS). I have done internships in ASD (Autism spectrum disorder), ID(Intellectual disability), Multiple disorders and Cerebral palsy in specific schools. I have attended conferences and workshops regarding autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and multiple disabilities. I am certified in Understanding ADHD- Current Research and Practice from futurelearn.com. In addition, I have been working as a life skills, Emotional learning teacher, MUN club mentor, and PYPX mentor for the past three years.My strong initiative, quick learning, exceptional organisational skills, and ability to work well under pressure allow me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced working environment.
