About Me

I am a phd student working in the area of experimental condensed matter physics at IIT Madras. I am passionate about teaching physics. I did my Bsc from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. During my Bsc, I worked as a part time home tutor for a year for 9th grade CBSE students. I completed my Msc in physics from NITK Surathkal, with 8.1 CGPA. During my MSc, I worked as a teaching assistant for Physics course offered to B.tech students. In IIT Madras, I worked as a teaching assistant for B.tech physics course for a semester. Currently I am a researcher, but I have always found myself enjoy teaching physics. I believe scientists can teach big concepts in small, simple ways. I work as a part time online tutor for college and school level students now. I teach physics courses for students from UBC Canada, USA and London. I can teach physics in various levels ranging from High school to college. I strongly believe that anyone can learn physics easily. If a student hates physics it is because he/she wasn’t taught properly. I am very confident in saying that I will make you understand the subject if you find physics tough. Physics is all about exploring and admiring the universe. Our everyday life has a lot of physics involved in it. Observing the nature and admiring it made me a researcher, I take immense pleasure in making others get the same excitement of learning physics. About my teaching methods, as I already mentioned, I make a lot of efforts to make students understand physics. I ask many questions during the classes to ensure that the student follows my class. I make sure that the student understands what I am saying. I enjoy solving a lot of physics problems. So I love training the students for exams like IIT JEE, SAT, etc.
