About Me

I am an HS qualified student from South Point High School, looking for home tuitions. My favourite subjects in school were mathematics and English, and I also have had a 2-year teaching experience in these subjects. Appearing for mathematics Olympiads has always been of great enthusiasm for me, due to the non routine, open to thought, delightful problems they offer. I cleared the Regional Mathematical Olympiad in 2017.As far as teaching is concerned, there's some rare beautiful joy in teaching a student from the grass root level and seeing him progress and grab concepts steadily, as the teacher explains it in a manner as lucid as possible. In fact, that's the basic challenge for every teacher. Another important perspective of teaching, I believe, is to inculcate in the student's mind, a hunger for knowledge and a spirit of questioning actively and trying to seek answers so that he can just get going quite smoothly on his own after the initial bit of push. Coming to my subjects, I am quite fond of literature and puzzles. I spend most of my leisure time reading books or maybe I am engrossed in some mind boggling puzzle or problem. To teach, you need to have a true passion for the subjects too. I would really enjoy imparting the same spirit in young minds.
