About Me

I started tutoring XI-XII students in Physics since last year for CBSE board exams and competitive exams like the IIT JEE Mains and Advanced. I have an immense passion for training young minds. Alongwith their syllabus which they must learn thoroughly, I also tell my students about modern reasearch in Physics. I do not believe in rote learning and mere problem solving. I teach my students first the concepts, engage with them in scientific discussions and then train them to use the concepts learnt to solve problems. I want them to love the subject. I always treat my students as equal partners in learning, I learn from them as much as they learn from me. Alongwith traditional chalk-board and books, I use online vedios of Physics concepts from MIT OCW (the most widely followed online teaching material in Physics) in my class and like to maintain week-long contact with my students through study circles in whatsapp.<br><br>Having done my undergraduate from one of the best places to learn Physics in India (Presidency College), I know what it takes to be at the top and how to train for it.<br>I am a DST (Department of Science and Technology, Govt. Of India) Inspire Scholar and currently doing my graduate research work at Presidency University Kolkata.<br><br>So if you want to really learn the subject and understand the working of the physical universe, fare well in boards or competitive exams, or want to take up a Physics career, I hope to be a good guide on your road of success.
