This combination yields a profile of the learner's knowledge base, and identifies the difference between what the learners ‘think they know and actually know’. They are taught and encouraged ‘to think’ and ‘draw out’ information from within.<br><br>Getting 8 questions right out of 10, does not necessarily mean that the knowledge level is @ 80%, wherein only 40% of the questions may be correctly answered based on confidence ie., ‘Knowledge’; 20 % is answered based on educative guess ie., Requiring ‘recap’ and 20% may have been answered although correctly, but based on ‘wild guess’ ie., ‘Without knowledge’.
