About Me

I have been tutoring Mathematics to secondary students for over 2 years and online tutoring for the past 1 year. I use the online portal WizIq for all my online tutoring sessions. Students are comfortable communicating with me in this portal where they can write on the board and solve problems, use chat box to ask questions, and raise their hand it they wish to interrupt the lecture for some reason. Typically, I use word or pdf files during lecture, which I send to students after the class for their reference. After explanation, we work out examples together. Lots of practice problems are given. The difficult ones are usually discussed next class, before the start of new topic. I believe that a good teacher is also a life-long learner. This means that a good teacher reflects on his/her own performance during a lecture, identifies any issues, and finds ways to rectify them. I put into practice these qualities by monitoring the progress and performance of my students through formative assessments and use the results to improve my tutoring skill. Pricing: * Rs.500 per hour for tutoring * Rs. 15, 000 for four-month courses Geographical Area Covered: I prefer to teach online or at home.
