Hello! I, Malabika Thakur, have been privileged to learn the basics of Hindustani Classical Music from Dr. (Mrs.) Rama Sharma; Rabindra Sangeet from Mrs. Aakhi Banerjee, trained under Padma Bhushan Begum Parveen Sultana; and Ghazals from Padmashree Mrs. Shanti Hiranand, disciple of Late Begum Akhtar. I would be happy to share my knowledge, and train willing learners in Hindustani Vocal Music-light classical, nazrul geeti, Rabindra sangeet, adhunik Bangla songs, popular Ghazals & bhajans, and old Hindi film (Bollywood) songs. I offer both, private and group classes at my home in South Delhi. (Near Sirifort Auditorium and NIFT, Hauz Khas) Students of age groups 6 – 75 years are welcome, although I believe that music doesn’t understand any age-limit!
