About Me

My idea of teaching is not to go by the book. I make the student explore new things and I encourage them to think and rationalize. I believe in conceptual clarity and not in mugging up. I give small concept checks on regular basis. This helps me to analyze how well the child is absorbing the subject. Also, it gives me an idea of the intellect of the student so that I can increase his studies to match his intellect. I assure myself that the syllabus is completely understood before I move on to the next chapter. I believe in giving to others what I have learned and in turn learn something from them. Being a mother myself, I know how things work with kids, how they want to know everything that is not related to the subject being taught. The idea is to keep them involved and motivated. I can do that pretty well. All my students agree that they are better able to understand the subject.
