"Children have to be educated, but they have also to be left to educate themselves", said Ernest Dimnet.<br><br>In all the years of teaching as a private tutor, the sole problem I encountered in teaching was communication. These days students are so tuned towards one-way teaching or just cramming up notes, they barely listen to what a teacher says. Of course, a part of the blame lies with those teachers at primary level education who instill in children the art of cramming up notes.<br><br>My teaching methodology is entirely different. First, I understand the students - their strengths and weaknesses. Second, I make sure that my teaching does not become one-way teaching where the learners are just passive listeners. No, my teaching demands active participation from the learner so that there is ACTUAL learning.
