About Me

I hold an M.A. degree in Humanities and have 10 years of experience in tutoring (and Journalism). I provide group tuitions and am also open to individual and online teaching. I focus on English (conversational English, Business English, etc), given my own professional background as a journalist. I have worked as a journalist for leading financial newspapers such as Economic Times and Business Standard, online media organisations such as Iris and premier e-learning cum technical writing firms such as Lionbridge in Bombay, the financial capital of India. I have also been assisting school students to cope with demands of the state board and CBSE curricula--I am therefore open to the possibility of teaching other subjects besides English. I am well-versed with computers and technology and am of the firm belief that the future of education lies in online education--i am thus also enthusiastic about online tutoring. Given my experience in financial journalism, I can also take classes on finance, economics and investment strategies, with special reference to derivatives. And most importantly, I am passionate about teaching, or rather being a facilitator to the process of learning.
