About Me

Objective: Forced Application for High school teaching positions in History and Civics Respected sir, I am Piyashi Bhattacharya (Das), My last teaching job was in Magnolia Maaruti Public school in Bangalore. Before that I was working in KIIT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Bhubaneswar as senior history teacher (residential) taking history and civics for class 9 to 12 cbse . Prior to that I was working in Sapphire International School, Ranchi (as a residential teacher),as a History teacher, taking classes 8th to 12th both IGCSE and CBSC boards. I also have an experience of teaching ICSE and west Bengal board for five years.. Prior to that I was working in Ramakrishna Vivekananda Barrackpore Mission in kolkata. There I took English, history, geography civics and E.V.S.I have smart class knowledge and i believe in activity based teaching. I have experience of teaching primary. secondary as well as sr secondary classes. I am convent educated, M.A, M. Phil in history (First class) with a school teaching experience of more than 5 years. I can join immediately. This is a forced application for the post of History and civics teacher.I am leaving my current job due to relocation of my husband . Though I do not have a B.ed degree now but due to my simplified and jolly way of teaching , and various interesting PPTs and activities ,students enjoy my class and learn fast. Students enjoy my class because of my simple way of teaching and also sufficient activities and visual aids . My philosophy of education is a comprehensive, inquiry-based and student-centred approach to teaching and learning. The focus should be on the total growth of the developing child – intellectual, physical, emotional and social.Education should be interesting and activity based which should help the students in their professional life in future.
