About Me

Pranab Bhaumik has his schooling in small Rly town of Aalipur duar. He studied in a Bengali medium School of NF Rly . There being no other School of CBSE or ICSE/ISC, that was the only option available for the students. With the growth of students aspiring to enroll themselves in Kendriya Vidyalaya of CBSE , Rly opened a KV in Alipurduar in early 80s. On completion of schooling from Rly H.S. School in 1978, I joined ABN Seal Govt College ,Coochbehar to pursue B.A. honours in Economics . Thereafter, I did my post graduation in Economics from the University of North Bengal, Siliguri in the year 1983. As there was a leave vacancy in a H.S. School of South Dinajpur for the post of Asst. Teacher to teach Economics, I applied there . To my surprise, I received a joining letter from the School and served there for a brief period of eight months. I decided to join Govt. Sector finding it the best organization to serve. Finally, cracked IAF selection test in Nov 1986. It was my pleasure to serve the glorious organization like Indian Air Force for 26 years as combatant member where I had primary task of teaching airmen at training centre. As any combatant member had training to perform multiple tasks in the IAF, I was no exception to that. On leaving I.A.F in the year 2013, joined Army School as Administration Supervisor on 01 Feb 2013 . I had the opportunity to serve the prestigious institution like Army School till 19 Apr 2019. Presently, feel like to join any institute,/establishment where I may be assigned multiple tasks. I keep myself fit by walking every morning and evening. I read books and listen to news of national importance everyday. Find time to serve to be a earning member of the family if opportunity showers . Love to travel a lot . Desire to live happily with my family, friends and all my best known people. With love to all.....Pranab
