About Me

My teaching goal is to help students master the fundamentals of both lower level and advanced physics courses and to train them in solving numerical problems. I believe the role of a teacher is to infuse scientific temperament in a student and critical thinking on the subject. I have taught condensed matter physics, oscillations and waves, at the graduate and undergraduate level at the Central University of Kashmir, India from 01-09-2020 to 28-12-2021. Additionally, I have taught data analysis and statistics and characterization techniques courses as well. For the masters students I have taught the specialized paper advanced condensed matter physics. I have also mentored two M.Sc project dissertations and have demonstrated various experiments to the students such as Gouy’s method for room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement, ESR spectrometer, NMR spectrometer, tangent galvanometer, magnetoresistance for the semiconductor, spring-mass system, travelling microscope, vernier caliper, multimeter, Young’s modulus calculation, laser wavelength determination using diffraction grating, Malus Law etc.,
