About Me

Hi! I’m Riya, an MSc Chemistry graduate from IIT Indore and an IIT-JAM qualified chemist. I have also worked in research at IIT Bombay and in Germany, mainly in the areas of catalysis and sustainable chemistry. I genuinely enjoy explaining Chemistry in a way that feels simpler than it does in textbooks. My focus is not just on getting students to memorise reactions or formulas, but on helping them understand *why* something happens, so that solving questions becomes much easier. I can help students with Class 9–10 Science and Class 11–12 Chemistry, including CBSE board preparation, numericals, conceptual doubts, revision and exam strategy. I’m patient with doubts and completely okay with explaining the same concept in different ways until it clicks. I also have an IELTS Band 8 and can help students with spoken English, grammar, communication and conversational English. I like to keep my classes comfortable and interactive students should be able to ask questions freely without feeling judged for not knowing something.
