About Me

Hi My name is Ruhee and I am an Ex DPS Bangalore English faculty. I have been imparting tutions for a long time until I came to Bangalore some 9 years back. All this while, my entire focus was my child, as Karnataka was a relatively new place for us with an absolutely new culture. I was therefore, teaching my daughter for her regular classes, and now that she's on her own in college, I can look forward to guiding students as usual. I am a native Hindi, fluent English and broken Kannada speaker. :( I am still learning Kannada! :) I can guide a child to as much details as they would like to understand and can grasp in SST, explain concepts of Science to a comfortable detail that could be grasped/ wanted by a student and help a child with understanding difficult and scary looking formulas of Mathematics that trick them, to build a strong foundation for their next class. The idea is not just to pass, but to secure a good percentage by developing and adopting, good learning - understanding methodology. The understanding-learning technique plays an important role! Small guidance in the right direction, works wonders to drive away mental blocks that children develop, when they are consistently left unattended, during explanations in the class. Children then start graduating from I don't understand to I can't understand to leave it, I won't understand! They get dejected and it works like unending cycle for them.That's exactly where the problem begins. When they are guided appropriately and they receive the directions from the teacher in the manner that suits them, children get empowered to try more and that, enables them to deal with the most scariest of the subjects with ease and confidence.
