About Me

Graduated from Shri Ram College of commerce Delhi University, Post graduated and Mphil from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, I am a qualified ASSISTANT professor with JRF and NET. Having a vast experience of teaching in Delhi University colleges and 6 years of experience in teaching IGCSE and A level Economics, I am a trained and certified ECONOMICS Facilitator by Cambridge Assessment International Education as well as International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). My students have scored A* consistently for three consecutive years at IGCSE LEVEL and A* and A for two years in AS/ A level Economics. I believe in a friendly learning environment with my classes open for discussions without any judgements. Students are motivated for becoming inquirers with confidence and explore the world of economics from different perspectives. Real life connection are ensured to develop lifelong learning skills and no mugging up is promoted. Various interactive online tools are adopted for teaching concepts in clear and interesting way, thereby ensuring student's engagement with the content. Online presentations, whiteboards, collaborative tools are employed effectively during classes to make understanding of theory and economics diagrams simplified for students will different callibre. Regular quiz and formatives assessment are done to check concept clarity with revision classes available after each topic is completed. Economics in my classes is fun with learning happening simultaneously.
