The prominent reason why most of the people learn stenography is so simple. "GOVERNMENT JOBS" As a 24 years old energetic youth, I have been practicing shorthand for the past 5 years. And typewriting, since 7th standard. My typewriting speed is 80 wpm and shorthand of 150 wpm. Both have been certified by Directorate of Technical Education, Tamilnadu. At present am practicing 180 wpm in Shorthand, which rare number of people do, all over the world. I have been also selected in these following exams: PA to hon. Judges- gazetted A, Madras high court Steno grade 2, Indian army (working) SSC grade C and D (waiting for final results) Asrb (cleared written and waiting for skill test) More than a teacher, still I am an exam aspirant, who is trying for parliamentary reporter- gazetted A. This will be useful for my students to grasp ideas, and to learn lessons from the difficulties I faced in my experience.
