About Me

I have completed MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and MD Pathology from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. I believe “Pathology is the Mother of Medicine” and a sound knowledge of Pathology is of utmost importance to understand the clinical subjects. I am currently working as Asst professor in Bangalore, India. I am also working as an online teacher for an International Medical School. I teach medical, biomedical students and students of allied sciences and have 12 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about Pathology but teaching is my first love. I am happiest when I am teaching and surrounded by students. I am regarded an excellent teacher among my students and peers. I am adept in small group teaching methods like ‘Small Group Discussion’, Self-Directed learning’, ‘Team Based Learning’ and ‘Problem Based Learning’. I have experience in online teaching as I teach in an American Online Medical School. I have authored two books in Pathology. My first book has been published by Wiley and my second book will be published shortly. I am currently authoring a MCQ book in Pathology which has been accepted by ‘Theima Publishers’ for their online platform. I am interested in online teaching and will provide necessary lecture notes to the student. I can provide students taking up USMLE and AMC (Australian Medical Council) Part I exams a crash course in Pathology.
