About Me

Hi, I am working as senior copy editor with the newspaper group Times of India, Kochi. Having worked for more than 10 years at Times of India, I am looking to explore new opportunities. Over the 10 years at TOI, I have been into writing, editing and page making, apart from planning and packaging news stories. Apart from proofreading, I rewrote the stories to make them structured, simple and interesting to read. With my experience in handling various types of copies, I can write stories that are appealing to young readers as well. I have handled articles on a host of topics, ranging from crime to sports. According to the needs of the organization, I have edited, structured and packaged them to suit readers' interest. Before Times of India, I have worked with Press Association (national news agency of the UK) and The New Indian Express and have an experience of around 15 years at the news desk. I have a cumulative experience of 21 years, including non-journalistic and have worked for NGOs like Don Bosco and corporates like General Electric, remittance group UAE Exchange(in Abu Dhabi), Mphasis (EDS Technologies) etc. I have also cleared my All India Bar Council Exam in 2018 and have the licence to practice as an advocate and also pursuing my LLM from Ernakulam Govt Law College, Kerala.
