About Me

Kannada Teacher Shloka, Mantra Simple devotional songs (Devaranama) Teaching Yoga Teacher Myself Yashaswini from Bengaluru, Karnataka. I studied Engineering at the Visveswaraya Technological University, India. Currently I have switched my profession to Kannada language teaching. I handle Academic Kannada language classes for school syllabus and spoken Kannada language class for Non-Kannada speakers. Teaching is one of my passion, especially when it comes to teaching Kannada language I teach with utmost interest. Since 2010 I’m teaching Kannada language. I know that learning a new language, especially its verbal form, is a slow process so I let my students take their time with it. As long as I am able to hold their interest class after class and they look forward to more, I am assured that my teaching is well received and together we are creating a memorable experience. I use my students' personalities, passions and what is important to their lives as the axes of my focus in class to teach the language. My students find me very likable, friendly and relaxed in the teaching role. It is what I do best! Since 2014 I have been teaching Kannada language and also other subjects like Social studies, Science and English for government school children in Bengaluru. Extra Curriculum activities like Painting, Crafts, Sports, Storytelling, Drama, Dance and many more have been handled based on the interest of students. All these activities helped me a lot in understanding the various teaching methodologies (will be framed based on student ability and creativity) and also relationship and bonding of student-teacher. My aim is to deliver the conventional Kannada language by retaining its originality and essence. The Concern behind this kannada class is simple, in recent days Kannada language is made mandatory in Bangalore and many non Kannada speakers feel it difficult to teach their children. I want to make it possible for them to adapt to the language easily and effortlessly. I have trained students aged from 4 to 35 years. This has made me confident about my teaching methodology where I can educate students with different abilities, irrespective of their age and requirement. By altering the teaching methodology with respect to Individual’s ability and requirement I shall make sure that students doesn’t feel any stress while learning. In addition to this I also teach Shlokas (mantras) for children and Yoga for beginners. Shlokas lays strong foundation in increasing the memory power and pronunciation. Also helps in improving the vocabulary of Indian languages. From my childhood I have been exposed to all the Shlokas and mantras. Since I have been practicing shlokas right from my childhood I shall give my best with good efficacy. I have 300hrs of yoga training certification and I handle classes for only for beginners. Individual attention will be given and this will help in strong foundation. Good knowledge on other Indian language helps me in teaching forum. This multi-linguistic ability will help in building a good relationship with students. I believe that strong communication skills help a lot in understanding and make the things simple and easy.
